I do not support any of these automatically. Each economic issue should be looked at individually. I do not support raising taxes during an economic downturn either. These things listed above are all possibilities not not automatics.
There are only a few state constitutional requirements. Safety, education and infrastructure fall in those categories. Everything else is additional. Balancing these issues is a big balancing act. It is just like budgeting at home.
K. This is already required by state law. I am not a fan of sin taxes because the government can then say anything should be taxed additionally. I do not believe production should be taxed but consumption should be. This lowers or eliminates most taxes and makes it more fair for all users of services. Everyone should have skin in the game or else people won't understand the cost associated the services offered by the government.

Money is an extension of the individual or company. If the individual has the right to free speech then their money cannot be limited in that expression. It would reduce the amount of eligible candidates to require campaign spending by candidates. Voting is one of the most sacred rights of our nation and should be protected with zeal, not to the exclusion of people but to the pureness of the process.

The government neither creates nor retains jobs nor induces economic growth. All government jobs are a net cost not a net gain to the economy. Not that we can do with out government, but that government should be limited so those resources can be used by the private sector to grow the economy on a net positive basis.
